Séamus got one chest tube removed, the other two were putting out too much fluid to remove them just yet, but they should be able to come out tomorrow. He is completely off all sedation & drip pain meds. He's also off IV fluids. He gets Tylenol & oxycodone(?) as needed for pain.
He nursed for the first time this evening since midnight Monday night!! He actually has nursed twice now :-) And with less lines it is much easier to hold him now.
We got a visit from Daddy today! Jaic dropped the older 2 off with my parents & came to see us. Séamus stared & stared at him & almost smiled! It was good to see my hubby & hug him!!
Then we moved from the PICU up to pediatric recovery!! I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!
